Red Milkweed, 6" Pot
Red Milkweed, 6" Pot
Never judge a plant by its name. That’s certainly the case with Milkweed, A lovely wildflower that isn’t really a weed at all. This tough Denizen of North American fields, wetlands, & prairies is the sole host plant for the struggling Monarch butterfly. Milkweed doubles as a host and nectar plant. As a host plant, they are only used by Monarch and queen butterflies but as a nectar plant they are quite popular among many butterfly species.
