• When will my plant ship?
    Orders are fulfilled within 1-2 business days, and usually arrive 2-4 days after shipment.
  • Why can't you ship to California?
    Due to Department of Agriculture restrictions, we are unable to ship live plant material to the state of California at this time.
  • Are the plants treated with pesticides?
    All of our plants are treated with pesticides and fungicides with the exception of our Milkweed plants, which have been grown chemical free.
  • Will my plant come potted?
    Yes, your plant will arrive in it's plastic nursery pot.
  • My order arrived damaged, what do I do?
    Reach out to support@americanplantexchange.com with photos of the issue and your order number. Someone will be able to assist you within 24-48 business hours.
  • Do you offer wholesale?
    At this time, we do not offer wholesale shipments.
  • Will my plant look like the one in the picture?
    The photos of our products are of actual plants from our crop and are meant to be a general representation of the plant you will receive. All plants are a little different because they are living things, but we guarantee a plant of similar appearance and size.
  • What shipping method do you use?
    Standard shipping is approximately 3-4 Days through UPS Ground. You may upgrade to faster shipping at checkout if you wish to have your plant sooner.
  • How do I take care of my new plant?
    We've put together plant guides to help you with care instructions for your houseplant. You can find them here.
  • Can I have my order arrive around or on a specific date?
    We recommend placing your order at least 7-10 days before you need it to arrive. To avoid potential delays, we do not recommend placing an order and requesting a hold on the plant until a certain day.
  • Can I make changes to my order?
    If your order has not shipped, you may reach out to support@americanplantexchange.com for any changes you need to make.
  • Can I ship to multiple addresses?
    Unfortunately we can not accommodate separate addresses on one order. You will have to make separate orders for each address.
