It's not often you find a WOW-WORTHY plant that thrives in shade & blooms, but farfugium checks those boxes. When fall arrives, farfugium really begins to shine. It sends up clusters of yellow flowers that hover over its glossy foliage. The large, dark green, leaves themselves are interesting year-round & can transform a shaded area into a lush oasis.  It can also add rich texture and deep glossy foliage to shady woodland gardens, boggy areas, pond banks, container gardens, and perennial borders. In small beds and containers, it is a great back of the border plant. In larger beds, it can be massed as a groundcover in front of ornamental shrubs and under the canopy of trees.
