Christmas cacti are easy care, flowering plants that can live for 100 years. When they bloom, they produce long lasting, colorful, tubular flowers in pink or lilac colors. Unlike the desert-loving cacti many of us are used to, the holiday cactus is a native of tropical rainforests and needs regular water to remain healthy.
