Society Garlic is a tender Perennial that has a strong garlic aroma and also somewhat resembles garlic Chives in appearance. It is bluish Green in color with Small lilac trumpet-shaped flowers.
--Flowers and leaves are edible (mild garlic flavor), and may be used in soups and salads.
--Makes a nice edging for vegetable beds; good cut flower. Suffers frost damage at 20-25F but recovers quickly. Deer don't browse these plants.
USDA hardiness zones: 7-11.
