Holly Fern, named for the pointy tips on its leathery leaves, is a drought-resistant plant native to Africa & Asia. This fern forms loose two to three-foot tall clumps of deep green leathery leaves with dark green shiny fronds of holly-like leaflets that have coarsely fringed margins. It's dark green color makes for a great background when grouped with more colorful plants and a great texture for container plantings.
- Low maintenance
- Can reach 2' tall
- Needs full/partial shade or bright indirect light
- Ideal temperature is between 65 - 80°F
- Toxicity: Non-toxic to humans and pets
- USDA hardiness zones for outdoor planting: 6-11
